is the name of a science fiction and fantasy contest for writers and artists.
It was founded by writer L. Ron Hubbard. In 2017 Ciruelo was invited
to join the panel of judges of this prestigious art contest.

Ciruelo presented one of the Illustrators of the Future winners at the Awards Ceremony on 2nd April, 2017.

Many famous writers and illustrators were present at the Awards Ceremony.
Fantasy artist Larry Elmore has been judge for this contest for over five years.
Here he is sitting next to Ciruelo.

Among the many advantages for the selected artists and writers of this contest are the workshops
which are given by top professionals and artists during the week prior to the Awards Ceremony.

Some of the previous judges for this contest are: Frank Frazetta, Moebius, Stephan Martiniere,
Larry Elmore, Bob Eggleton, Stephen Youll, Frank Kelly Freas, and so on.
