"The workshop turned out to be a wonderful experience. We started out with an introductory talk about Fantasy Art and what it means to work as an artist in the present times. The students expressed their own ideas about art and their purposes in the field, and from that moment on we began to experiment in the practice. First with pencils and then with oils on canvas. The two days flew away as we played around with shapes and colors as to release our creativity, because that was one of the more important goals of the whole seminar. The Atelier of Lucio Parrillo was the perfect environment for that since it's also a gallery full of his marvelous art hanging on the walls, which proved to be a great inspiration for everybody. It was also an honor for me to exhibit my original artworks there. And it was a pleasure to participate in that series of workshops run by well known artists from Europe and USA. That's a project that Lucio Parrillo and Carla Cohen are undertaking for the benefit of students and the Fantasy Art community in general." ..........................................................Ciruelo

Friday 30th of June, 2017. In the opening of the exhibition there were artists, teachers
and students of many Firenze´s accademies of art.

"Firenze is one of the most beautiful and stimulating cities that I have visited because of its
history and for the art that is still alive in every corner. Since I first read the biographies of
Michelangelo and Leonardo Da Vinci when I was still a teenager I've been dreaming about
participating of that city's artistic life. The dream somehow came true with this
workshop and exhibition at Lucio's atelier."
