"Collaborating with Fierro magazine was one of those great experiences I will remember for the rest of my life. The artists who published their work there were among the best in the world, and that was an endless source of inspiration for an artist who was just twenty-one years old at the time. The illustrations I was commissioned to create for the magazine’s covers were my own interpretations of characters created by some of the great masters of comics. Later on, I also had the opportunity to create an original, freely conceived painting for a Fierro poster. I remain deeply grateful for having been given that opportunity."
