THE ALCHEMICAL EGG
a story by Alejandro Jodorowsky and Ciruelo |
EN ESPAÑOL |
| In 2004, the renowned writer Alejandro Jodorowsky approached Ciruelo with a proposal to collaborate on a comic story. At first, Ciruelo declined, as his skills and experience lay primarily in illustration, whereas comic art required a different approach and set of skills. Jodorowsky then decided to write a story set in the dragon world created by Ciruelo, drawing on many of the artist’s existing artworks. The story was published by Humanoids in France in 2006 in the book Asteroïde Hurlant, and later appeared in The Jodorowsky Library, published in the USA in 2022. |
